Moving out with the Kids
06/21/2010
When I and my children have to move away after my divorce with their father, we called on this local moving company to assist us in taking out stuff from the house that bore our pain. Lawrence, my firstborn, is six years old yet he could already understand what’s happening. My son has been a great help and blessing to me. He helps out these men move out our stuff with his little hands. His sister, Aurora, is still 2 years old and could barely lift a box. However, the three of us managed to be out of the house by sundown, and we all were eager to start a new life without a father who is abusive and had neglected us for so long.
I thank these packing companies, who did not just lend a hand in carrying the bulk of our stuff, but also helped us packed. They’ve got very organized compartments and boxes for our things and eased up on our load. We are very happy when the house is cleared up. My son loves being with them, admiring their sturdy arms; I guess it’s a longing for a father’s guidance that my husband never got to give.
Regrets aside, I and my two children are ready to start a new life.
