The Discount Office Supplies Store Has New Owners

The discount office supplies store that I have always used, just told me that they had been bought out and they are not sure if the people intend to continue to offer the same products or not. I would be really upset if they stopped carrying everything that I have been use to getting from them for the last few years.

I knew that something was up when they did not have the big inventory of office supplies that they usually carry. They explained that the new owners wanted to get the large inventory down, before they took over just in case they wanted to change a few things. I have already contacted a different local discount office supplies store that I think might work out, if this one changes too much.

I think that the other one has most of the things that this one offers, but their prices might be just a little bit higher. As long as they have the things that my employees have gotten used to using, then I do not mind paying a little more money. I told the owners of the discount office supplies store that just was sold, to make sure and tell the new people that people do not like change and if they do too much, they will probably lose valuable customers.

Selling Silver Watches On The Street

The man that was selling silver watches on the street was selling them for dirt cheap. I suppose that they might be stolen, but fifty dollars for a silver watch that looks that good, is hard to pass up. I did however walk away thinking that he might be out here selling silver watches like some sort of police sting undercover operation and as soon as I hand over the money, they will arrest me.

I wonder how many people sell silver here in the city that are legitimate business owners. I have always been taught that if they are using the streets to sell silver or gold than it must be hot. My cousin used to sell silver coins that he stole from his father’s coin collection and make a few bucks every week, until his father caught him and then he had to get a real job and pay back all the money with interest.

I told a coworker of mine all about the guy on the street selling the silver watches and how I was afraid to buy one, he laughed and then pulled up his sleeve to show me that he had not been afraid and had the nice silver watch to prove it.
